Macro Evening

Thanks to Paul for organising the macro shoot event. It was encouraging to see so many members taking part and learning from one another. I thought I would share this attempt, of focus stacking this mushroom, it’s not perfect, still getting to grips with the software and being more methodical in the order of taking the images. Thanks, Rebecca, for providing it along with the onions. Look forward to seeing some of the other images taken on the night.

Love the depth of field you have achieved here Frank. I didnt get any shots I was truly happy with on the night but loved all the enthusiasm shown by everyone. I was so taken with your “multiple hands” gizmo that I bought one myself as can clearly see the benefits for macro use.
