Week 28/52 – Wanted to try out this fun experiment capturing myself multiple times. Had about 25 layers which took a long time to mask correctly!

Week 29/52 – A thoughtful portrait of our youngest. Used in-camera multiple exposure to try to find a different take to the grinning shots you can get with most kids.

Week 30/52 – Spent a week in lovely Yorkshire and went to RSPB Bempton Cliffs to see the impressive Gannets, plus a few Puffins still left there. Thanks to @DavidBeard – http://www.flickr.com/photos/44566609@N03 – for the loan of the amazing Canon 100-400L.

Week 32/52 – Went for a film Contact Sheet recreation this week. My work colleague was a willing subject and the marking are similar to how picture editors would have marked their preferred choices.

Week 33/52 -This image is a 5 day pinhole exposure pointing out of a window across a playing field and pavillion. It also shows the path of the sun over those 5 days. I like how the image is almost a little planet in itself. Anyone interested in this should lookup the Solarcan Puck.

Week 34/52 – Had a family week away and visited Chichester so thought I would try a vertical panorama. Slight HDR tone added to bring out some extra detail.

Week 35/52 – Couldnt pass up a chance to place these guitars in a pleasing shape. I still have the portrait image but the square crop is stronger.

Week 37/52 – Bit low on inspiration so grabbed some of the wife’s flowers and followed a “pixel stretch” video for inspiration.

Week 38/52 – The advantages of working in a school is you can ask the lab technician for an interesting subject. This is table salt added to water which then evaporates leaving these salt crystals. Used my macro lens with a blue background for the shot.

Week 39/52 – Partly inspired by Karl Blossfeldt I choose to use artichokes this week but also wanted to show their contents hence this diptych. Used my Lensbaby for a shallow depth of field.

Week 40/52 – London has an abundance of great architecture. Had a brief window to get out in the sunshine and photograph this building near Vauxhall. I did try long exposures but couldnt get good cloud cover so this is a composite.
