Hi Frank
Graham and I are interested in coming to the Lakes.
As we are going to the Falklands on 7th November we may go up a day or so earlier and come home on the Sunday.
Hope more will join us.

TinaParticipantHi All
Have just booked Bangor Premier Inn for 9th – 13th Nov.
Hope a few more will join us for a trip to North Wales.
Best wishes

TinaParticipantHi Keith
Any update on Wales trip in November?
We are starting to get other things cropping up and wish to know if the trip is going ahead. Hope you and Lance are ok. XTinaParticipantThank you Bet. Unfortunately the surgeon said it could be 6 to 9 months before I can pick up camera and lens again. I will have to get creative with a tripod and Graham’s help.
Hope to see you on Wednesday.

TinaParticipantHi Keith
Tina and Graham would like to join you on this trip.
Thank you for organising.

TinaParticipantMichael asked about the settings for my Slinky image as his were quite white in comparison.
F/4, 1/2000, ISO 2,000, Ex. comp -3, AWB, Evaluative metering, 60mm, Picture style A.
The previous image I took was not so colourful and the difference in settings was 1/500 and 88mm.
So I can only conclude that where the focus point is placed and the amount of zoom makes the difference in the outcome of the image. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

TinaParticipantTinaParticipantTinaParticipantHere are a couple of images taken by Graham of us intrepid photographers.
TinaParticipantA couple of images from the Battersea trip.
TinaParticipantTinaParticipantThank you Paul for organising a great afternoon/evening.
Thoroughly enjoyed it and the company of nine.
Best wishes

TinaParticipantPS I think the trains are ok.

TinaParticipantHi All
Looking forward to our outing later.
Do we need a tripod and what lens does anyone recommend?
TinaTinaParticipantHi All
Wally telephoned me yesterday saying he went up to Battersea and had a nightmare journey there and back due to engineering works.
I’ve just had a look and I think there may be problems again this weekend. It seems there is work between Selhurst and Purley and Clapham Junction to somewhere.
